What do you do with existing timber frames when completing double glazing?

Many people are surprised to learn that there is the possibility of keeping their timber frames when it comes to double glazing.

There are two ways that we can fit double glazing into your timber windows without having to replace the entire frame. The first is our Timber reFIT method which enables you to fit genuine double glazing into your home while retaining the character, durability and excellent thermal characteristics of timber windows. This is a process we have been continually developing for over ten years to achieve best in class results. You can book in a consultation here or read more about the timber reFIT process here.

The second option is reFRAME Inner. This is where we remove all internal parts of your timber windows (opening and fixed windows, mullions and transoms) and install Thermally Separated Aluminium Insert Frames into the timber frame that remains. This option is perfect for people who are looking to reduce maintenance requirements, modernise their homes, or simply update window configurations to either optimise views or achieve a more functional window layout.

You can book in a consultation here or read more about the reFRAME inner process here.
